The
Ladies of the Crown is a a Member Krewe of the Interkrewe Council of Tampa, Florida. It is an independent organization, limited to 100 women,
whose members have come together for fun and fellowship. The group
was founded in 1986 and includes mothers, daughters, homemakers, business
and professional women. Governed by a board of directors who are elected
at the annual membership meeting, the organization sponsors many social
functions, often including spouses, and guests. A typical
year's activities begin with the September cocktail party for new members
and ends with the krewes formal membership dinner
dance in May. We participate in the Gasparilla Piratefest and
associated parades and activities. Throughout the year, you may kick up your heels at a
Fall hoe down, enjoy our elegant holiday luncheon, revel with Jose Gaspar
(at the February Gasparilla Pirate Festival), dance the jig at a St.
Patrick's day party, spend an evening at the theater, pick a winner on
Race
Day while continuing to enjoy the warmth of friendship. Membership is by
invitation. Please view & enjoy our website, and contact us if you have
any questions.
